In Jalsu Nanak with 51 tractors, 150 bighas of land will be ploughed, Bajra & Rijka will be sown for the fodder of cows.

Animals will no longer be without fodder

Degana | In Jalsu Nanak a unique initiative of the villagers has come to the fore for the destitute cows of the cowshed. On Saturday the entire village gathered on the ground outside the village to arrange fodder for 600 cows. Villagers arrived with their tractors and started ploughing 150 bighas of land with 51 tractors. After this Bajra, Rijka will be grown for fodder & this land will be irrigated with a tube well. So that fodder can be made available to the destitute cows throughout the year. At around 12 noon on Saturday, the villagers reached to plough the land with their tractors. By leveling the barren land the land was made suitable for sowing bajra and rijka grass. Sowing will be done here in the next few days. After this irrigation will be done with tubewell. In this way, fodder will start growing on 150 bighas of grazing land. Villagers say that this will solve the problem of fodder for the cows forever. Under the chairmanship of sarpanch Kailash Mahiya villager Ankit Mahiya, Shekhar and others were present.

Will build pastures by fencing at a cost of 5 lakh

During this Sarpanch, Kailash Mahiya told that the villagers had taken a collective decision to grow fodder for the destitute cows. Accordingly, everyone reached with their respective tractors. Ploughing is being done here with 51 tractors. Now in the coming days by collecting weekly donations the villagers will also get the fencing for this grazing land done at a cost of 5 lakhs. So that no one can encroach on this land.
