In the matter of issuing Pattas on the Pastureland, the court has sought a response from the government in 2 weeks.

The High Court has issued a notice to the Government with regards to the Gau Gram Seva Sangh Rajasthan’s PIL.

In protest against the government's decision to issue pattas on pastures, Gau Gram Seva Sangh, Rajasthan has filed public interest litigation in Rajasthan High Court, based on which, the court has issued a notice to the Rajasthan Government & sought a reply in 2 weeks. The Gau Gram Seva Sangh Rajasthan & its associate Shri Surabhi Gau Sanctuary Committee, Bikaner filed Public interest litigation in Rajasthan High Court against the decision of the Government of Rajasthan to issue pattas on the pastures. Accepting the PIL, the court issued a notice to the government seeking a reply in 2 weeks. On 1st February again there will be a hearing in the court. The PIL was filed by advocate Moti Singh Rajpurohit in the division bench of Justice Akhil Qureshi & Rekha Borana. This PIL was presented by State President of Gau Gram Seva Sangh, Rajasthan, Lalit Dadhich & Secretary of  Surabhi Gau Sanctuary Committee Anoop Gehlot. Surajmalsinh Neemrana, State working President of Gau Gram Seva Sangh, Rajasthan said that Gochar, Oran, Johad, Paytan, etc. are the heritage left by our ancestors. It is the duty of every Indian to preserve it. The present government is disturbing our natural balance by exploiting them.

Former Minister Bhati will sit on Indefinite Protest from today

Former minister Devi Singh Bhati has also joined the protest against the decision to issue pattas on the pasture land. Former minister Bhati will sit on an indefinite protest in Sareh Nathania from Thursday onwards. They alleged that by giving pattas on Pastures & Oran land the government was encouraging the land mafia while this land was left by the forefathers for social & environmental reasons. Although the government has banned the gathering of more than 50 people at one place due to Corona, but Bhati has started the protest by announcing a sit-in 2 days ago.
