Devi Singh Bhati raised a protest after a video conference with the top state authorities obtained written consent

Bikaner | Indefinite protest by former minister Devi Singh Bhati was against the decision of the state government to issue pattas to the occupiers of Gauchar and Oran on 44th day of the protest a video conference was held with the state government and top district administrators & after the talk with district officials. After obtaining written consent from the administration former minister Devi Singh Bhati’s protest ended. Bharti spokesperson Sunil Banthia said that talks were held with Divisional Commissioner Dr. Neeraj K Pawan and District Collector Bhagwati Prasad, District Superintendent of police on 24th February. After agreeing on the local points a video conference was held with Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department Jaipur, Principal Secretary Revenue Department and Government Secretary Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department on 10 points were proposed for further action. According to the written consent the development and conservation of the Pasture and Oran will be done through MGNREGA by ensuring the implementation of all the available measures in an effective manner and by removing the encroachment as soon as possible. If any government land is going to be used as pasture, grazing land & Oran and if it is not marked in the state record then after inspecting the area by the competent authority action will be taken to mark it in the revenue record as per the rules. In the written committee, an action plan will be prepared at the tehsil and panchayat level for the protection security, and development of the pasture and oran. Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department Jaipur, Principal Secretary Revenue Department, and Government Secretary Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department after discussion all the members of the committee have agreed for the protection of the pastures. During the talks, former minister Devi Singh Bhati said that no other construction work should be done on the pasture and grazing land except for water storage structures. Bhati also said that the policies made on 27 December 2021 should be reviewed keeping in mind the benefit of cows & then the decision should be taken. Variety change in the future over and above the stipulated limit or proportion of the total pastureland for special purposes should not be done. Devi Singh Bhati talked about the amendment of the revenue act Rajasthan tenancy rules. The officials present in the meeting assured Bhati that they can take other constructive suggestions in this regard on hold talks with him. At the conference, all the points have been sent to the state government after proper examination. Along with this the land of the Pathar Peda in Sharah Nathania grazing land Bikaner will be recorded back in the pasture while it was agreed to shift the police firing range from the present location. At the conference Divisional Commissioner, Inspector General of Police, District Collector, and others were present.
